2nd Kalinga Mahotsav

The second Kalinga Mahotsav, a Festival of
Martial dances, was organised by Art Vision in collaboration with Orissa
Tourism and Nalco at Shanti Stupa, Bhubaneswar, on the 13th and 14th of
February 2004. Martial art forms that participated were Gatka from
Punjab, Kalaripayattu from Kerala, Phari Khanda from Jharkhand and Paika
from Orissa. The opening item was a modern choreographic work based on
