Vision presented "Shakti, il femminile di Dio" in UK and Italy in July
2010. The tour was sponsored by ICCR, Indian Council for Cultural
Relations. The group, composed by 5 dancers and 3 musicians, performed
at Cardiff (UK), Bergamo (Italy), Rome, Miasino and Vignale.
8th Kalinga
Mahotsav
Art Vision in collaboration with Tourism
Dept. Government of Orissa presented the 8th Kalinga Mahotsav, a festival
of Martial Dances at Dheuli Hill, Shanti Stupa, Bhubaneswar on 10th and
11th of January 2010. The participating troupes were:
1- Kalamandala Pyal and troupe from Kolkatta with Tagore’ play Kshyamanya
Khyati
2- Rebona Nuagoan Paik Akhada directed by Sushil Kumar Mangaraja with
Paika Khela (Orissa)
3- ECHO group directed by M.Mariton from Imphal, Manipur with Dhol Dholak
Cholom
4- Gagan Bagh and Sathi from Titlagarh with ‘Abhimanyu Badha”, (Orissa)

Remembering Guruji 2010
Art Vision has organised “Remembering Guruji 2010” on the occasion of Padma Bibhushana Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra 6th death anniversary, on 7th of April, at Rabindra Mandap. Like every year few of the most senior students of Guruji got together on this day to pay homage to him by dancing some original compositions of the Guru, learnt directly from him. This year the presentation included some exclusive Oriya abhinaya composed by Guruji in the late seventies early eighties. Among the dancers were Ileana Citaristi, Pranati Mohanty, Itshri Devi, Meera Das, Mukti Pal and Nandini Ghosal.
Exploration in Odissi style
Art Vision dance group from Bhubaneswar presented “Exploration…in Odissi style”, group and solo choreographies by Padmashree Dr. Ileana Citaristi at Kamani Auditorium on the 20th of April 2010.
The program showcased recent compositions by Ileana danced by her and her students. Among these are “Partha sarathi”, (duet) with music by Ramahari Das, “Mahanadi and the river flows” (group) with music by Laxmikanta Palit and “Sharanam” (solo) with music by Gopal Panda.
The program was jointly hosted by Italian Embassy Cultural Centre and Indian Council for Cultural Relations.
