SASWAT JOSHI

 Born in 1984, Saswat Joshi started learning Odissi, Sambalpuri and folk dance at the age of 5 in his native village Titilagarh in western Orissa, under the guidance of Prasanta Patnaik and Shantanu Behera. He has obtained his degree in dance (Visharad) from Sangeet Mahavidyalay under Chandigarh university in 2003 and got a gold medal from the same university. He has completed his Master Degree from Bangiya Sanskrutik Sansad in 2005.

From 2001 to 2004 he has received training in the Odissi Research Center, Bhubaneswar, under the guidance of Padmashree Kumkum Mohanty. Since 2004 he is associated with Art Vision, Bhubaneswar and is contuining his training in Odissi under the guide of Padmashree Dr. Ileana Citaristi with whom he is also regularly performing as dance partner.

He has already performed in major festival in India and given Lec-Dem and workshop in Odissi and folk dance for different dance institutions. He has choreographed dance productions for stage and Television and participated in several dance competitions held at national level.

ALISHA MOHAPATRA

Born in 1982 Alisha Mohapatra is a senior dancer of Art Vision; she is attached to the Institution since its very beginning in 1996. She has taken part in all the dance productions as member of the performing unit and also she functions as assistant in the teaching faculty of the school. Her artistic qualification includes Visharada (Purna) from Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidialay (Mumbai). She is a Graduate in Commerce and is pursuing her studies in Human Research Management in Utkal University.

Born in 1985 Subhalaxmi Samal started learning Odissi dance in Art Vision in the year 1998. She has by now given performances in all the major productions of the Institution and started functioning as assistant teacher for visiting students. Her artistic qualification includes Nrutya Bhashan (Purna) from Orissa Sangeet Nayak Academi and Visharada (Purna) from Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidalay (Mumbai). She is at present pursuing her Post Graduation in Sociology in Utkal University.

MINATI MOHAPATRA

Born in 1993 Minati Mohapatra is among the youngest dancer of Art Vision. She has started learning Odissi dance in the year 2000. She is performing regularly with Art Vision repertory group since the last few years. She is receipent of 'JYOTI SAMMAN' from Naveen Kalakar 2009 and her artistic qualification includes Madhyama (Pratham) fram Bharatya Gandharva Mahavidialay. She is continuing Plus 2 (II year ) in Commerce from Kamala Nehru Women College, Bhubaneswar.

UPASANA MOHANTY

Born in 1994, Upasana is the youngest dancer in the troupe. She has passed the Madhyama Pratham (3rd year) in dance from Gandharva Mahavidyalay and she is pursuing her 2nd year in Science in the Kamala Neheru Women College, Bhubaneswar. She has joined the performing unit of Art Vision since 2008 and has already given performances in different parts of India.
